The stream has enough force to knock basic, non-chakra projectiles aside, as well as to make someone hit by it stagger back 2 meters with no additional damage, assuming the caster is 5 metres or less away from the person being hit.

With this being done the user will attempt to connect a punch with the dominant hand. Just before impact, the chakra stored within the released is released outward, and ignited by the user, with the ignited chakra molding and shaping itself into the head and gaping maw of a dragon.  When the attack actually connects, the dragon's head will 'bite' the target, causing intense pain and and severe burns. The teeth are able to pierce the flesh up to a half inch deep, and cauterize the wound to increase the pain. (To better illustrate this attack, consider the following. The dragon's head, one ignited and formed, will cover the entire forearm of the user. The user's fist will rest in the back of the dragon's throat once the chakra is shaped. If the technique connects with a target's bare chest, the area immediately under the impact point will suffer severe second degree burns, including damage to the deep partial thickness. Approximately two inches away from the impact point, the burn degree will lessen to that of damage to the superficial partial thickness. Approximately three inches after that, will be first degree burns that lessen into unharmed skin.)

The after explosion will leave their face, and upper torso with first and second degree burns (Superficial partial thickness and deep partial thickness).

Description: After weaving the appropriate sequence of hand signs the user generates raiton chakra from their bodies, creating 3 small (about 2 feet in length) spear shaped masses of lightning around them (one above their head and one at each side). These spear-like projectiles can be fired at will, either individually or all at once. Each spear interacts with other jutsu as an independent D-Rank jutsu. When fired they travel up to 20m/s and can pierce 1 inch deep into unprotected flesh while dealing major first degree burns at the point of contact. The user can also choose to concentrate all three bolts into his/her hand rather than fire them individually, creating a longer (5 feet) spear shaped bolt. This bolt must be thrown like a javelin and travels at the same speed as the smaller versions. The higher concentration of chakra makes the jutsu capable of piercing non-fuuton C-rank defenses or below as well as piercing an inch and a half into flesh and inflicting minor 2nd degree burns.

As long as the user keeps moving, they can walk over any sort of substance imaginable, running across very small and thin tree limbs, jumping off of falling leaves, and even 'gliding' through the air over great distances (Up to 25 meters  vertically).

Description: Shadow Doppelganger Technique creates up to 4 clones of the user. Unlike the regular Bunshin, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each one an equal fraction of the user's overall power. Because they are created this way, even the Sharingan and Byakugan can't distinguish them from the original. The user of this technique must form a hand sign to create the clones, they cannot form them simply by will. The clones will be created in roughly the same physical condition as the original (wounds and buffs/debuffs/special effects present on the user are copied over upon creation); also, the user must equally divide their chakra among the clones, potentially using up all their chakra quickly if the user is low on chakra or makes too many clones. The clones are capable of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed. They can also disperse on the user's whim. A characteristic that is unique to the Shadow Clone Technique is that any experience the clones gain during their existence is transferred to the user once they are dispersed. This makes the technique ideal for spying, since the user can simply send a clone to spy on a target, then have the clone disperse itself without returning to pass the information back to the user. Anomalistically, Kagebunshin are immune to the paralytic effects of Genjutsu B-rank and below. The user regains the chakra the clone had if and only if s/he disperses it of his/her own will; it takes a 1 post prep to disperse.

When you create a shadow clone, your chakra is divided among it/them. For example, let's say you're a Chuunin with max chakra. Your current chakra, 200, would be reduced by 20 for the cost of the jutsu; you want to make 4 clones, so your chakra is divided by 5 (you + 4 clones). This gives each clone a fifth of your chakra. So, each clone would have 36 chakra. Being that they are shadow clones, they are each able to perform jutsu themselves; they have their own separate chakra pool, and also follow their own cooldowns for jutsu. Each Shadow Clone has a reserve of stamina; their individual chakra is reduced by an amount appropriate amount to the damage done (E-10, D-15, C-20, B-25, A-30, S-35). The clone automatically disperses when it runs out of chakra, or when hit by any attack that can cause a noteworthy level of physical damage [second/third degree burns, broken bones, stab wounds, etc] If the original uses a technique before creating the shadow clones, the remaining cooldown on the technique applies to all clones created.

With that being said, with a flawless bond between the two, the mind is capable of pushing the body past its normal limits, allowing it to achieve things beyond imagination. This jutsu is proof of such. going by his father's method of teaching that the only limits a person has is the ones placed on themselves by themself, Naota developed this jutsu. With a moment's concentration, the user's mind and body achieves perfect synchronization for several minutes; allowing them to 'break thier own limits'. The user's base speed and strength is increased by One rank for a duration of five posts posts, allowing the user to attack faster, hit harder, and proving that the connection between body and mind is a deadly thing to master.

Description: By coating one's body in Fuuton and Katon chakra, then igniting it, one will be covered in flames. The flames are rumored to be hot as the sun, hence giving the jutsu its name. The user's skin and flesh are left virtually unharmed by the technique, thanks to the layer of wind chakra that is at-level with their skin. The flames are capable of blocking up to two fire style jutsu [Doubled for every rank below S] or three wind style jutsu [Doubled for every rank below S] used against the person of equal rank or below]. If the justu threshold is breached, the jutsu will lose its defensive capabilities, becoming purely offensice/supplementary. In addition, Wind style jutsu are now super heated to the point of causing first degree burns if they come in contact with bare flesh, if not, outright ablaze. Fire jutsu of higher rank will instantly remove the defensive properties of the jutsu -- wind style will still require two jutsu. Water jutsu of C-rank or below will evaporate long before reaching the user-- B rank and above will instantly kill the jutsu in its entirety.

Simple punches and kicks are now more dangerous; every attack now will cause guaranteed second degree burns contact on with bare flesh; third degree burns are possible if contact is maintained for more than one post. Needless to say, the area around the user becomes super heated, causing dry flora to be set ablaze after two posts. These flames last for three posts before dying out. Anyone that is not sufficiently prepared for this kind of heat will potentially suffer heat-related health conditions such as dehydration after four posts and heat stroke after six.

Once this jutsu ends, the user suffers a -2 tiers in power to thier Speed and strength due to damage done to the body for three posts.

Description: This technique... is devastating, to put it lightly. It is only able to be performed under the influence of Inner Harmony, which is needed to focus the power required to perform this technique. This technique is really simple in terms of performance. One Punch. A simple punch, delivered with all the strenghth the user can muster up. The user will focus 90% of thier chakra into thier dominant limb. Given the effects of Inner Harmony, this jutsu is performed at a very high speed, one said to rival that of Jinton (Roughly 110 m/s). As the user moves to perform the technique, the world around them is said to warp and bend, caused by the large amounts of chakra coursing through thier body leaking out and affecting the world around them.

Upon impact, the chakra is violently released; utterly destroying the target in a massive release of explosive force. Even if the user so happens to miss with the target, this attack will still be effective If the user strikes near the target. The immediate surrounding area (Roughly an area the size of Konoha) is obliterated, save for the user, who is protected from the forces by the chakra distorting area around him. However, he user is left incredibly weakened (No matter how much chakra you had when you first performed this attack, you will be left with 15 chakra.). In addition, the bones of the user's arm will be broken, and the muscules torn to shreds. You will require an S rank medic to tend to your wounds. If not, the arm used to perform this technique will be completely useless. [This jutsu must be performed with at least 90 chakra availible]

Goukakyuu and Goryuuka both are Library jutsu; replace them when the Katon libraries are out and you're golden.

Manipulated Shuriken, Shadow Shuriken, and Manipulated Windmill Triple Blades are not Taijutsu techniques. If anything they are Bukijutsu.

Dragon Punch: This jutsu sacrifices power for both speed (which is nonexistent because it never travels faster than you do) and range (restricted to body + a few inches), so I think major second-degree can stay.

Burning Arrow: A full-out stun (paralysis with a side of not being able to do anything) is only available as a B or A-rank jutsu with that being its only ability...you could possibly change this jutsu to a temporary -1 tier to reaction time and major first/minor second-degree burns.

Afterimage Technique: I would actually be OK with this being used to escape a battle; the trouble is the actual use in-battle makes this a psuedo-teleport. Limit the speed and range of the technique (how far you can travel whilst making afterimages) in accordance with B-rank jutsu speed.

Inner Harmony: Change this to 2 tiers instead of 1 rank, or if you want a 3 tiers of strength boost add a drawback if you like.

Body of the Sun: You can't nullify every Katon and Fuuton jutsu used against you of S-rank and lower; that makes this jutsu too useful if that can be done without limit. The C-rank water immunity is fine, but I would like the jutsu to only block 2 jutsu of equal rank before dissipating. In addition, adding third-degree burns to all hits makes this offensive and defensive; I find it needs just a little bit more than lowering jutsu power as a drawback. One stat would be fine.

Collapse of Heaven: This would be relatively OK, except for: 1) Speed's too high, lower it to about 90m/s. 2) An area the size of Konoha is way too big. That's like Deidara's C0...which required the death of the user. The maximum radius area for S-rank is 50m in all directions; you can make this jutsu's range higher than that, but be reasonable. Other than that, make it 'an S-rank ninja using an S-rank medical ninjutsu'. I'm not letting an someone use a B or A-rank jutsu to heal you and it work because of their rank; too easy for something that's supposed to be a jutsu drawback.

The point of this jutsu was not to 'sacrifice' anything ; it was merely for mental candy. I could easily say this was a Lion's head (Given that Naota is a Lion Sage) and it would change nothing. As I said, this jutsu is merely mental candy, something for the reader to envision as they're reading the thread.

The stun is not garunteed. If struck anywhere else on the body, yes, this jutsu is going to hurt like a bitch, but once more, the stun is not garunteed. If I hit you in the face with a foot followed by an explosion? Yea, its going to do more damange, and even then, the stun is not garunteed. And if we're going to be playing this stats game, it would be wise to take into effect the damage vs defenses. If I hit someone with low endurance, by site rules, I'm going to do alot worse than stun someone (especially seeing as I have S-3 strength).

Please explain to me the logic you used to arrive at this? How does adding fire to fire put out fire? Or adding wind to fire, which is cannonly proven to strengthen fire. By all canon logic, if I get hit with weaker fire, or any rank of wind, my flames would become stronger. I could understand if you specificly stated Amateratsu flames.... but you didnt.

Dragon Punch: Sorry, was musing to myself and recording why it was OK in case someone wondered.

Burning Arrow: Stats are independent from jutsu. Define 'stun' as something other than being completely unable to do anything and it has a much better chance of staying.

We'll get to inner Harmony and burning arrow in a sec. I have no qualms about changing the increase rate. In fact, I'm half-tempted to scrap IH due to the fact that tai is nearly useless now with stats.

My problem with you right now is the what you're posting on BoTS makes no sense by any logic. Yes, Chakra smothers chakra -- but requiring two jutsu do so is insane. Unless I'm hit with two S-rank jutsu at the -exact- same time, then its all for null. My flames will simply counter, and by your your site rules, will leave my flames intact. If I was hit with SS fire, i could understand - my flames would either increase the damage done to me, or cut it by half. If not hit by two S-ranks at the same time, then I can simply 'adjust' to it, and there is nothing that you can say to counteract this.

But you're not arguing this. You're telling me (And you've never said anything to further explain) that taking two equal rank jutsu will kill my jutsu. No spacing, apart, no nothing. For example, BoTS only lasts five posts at max [which is a nerf that was placed on it the last time I had to get it reapproved. It was chaged from 'simply lasting until Naota disperses it]. By your logic, I can get hit on the first post with a S-rank fire jutsu and and if I get hit again at any point between the final post, my jutsu is cancelled.

Time is variable between posts. No one is going to use fire on someone who's literally on fucking fire, no matter what fucking rank they are. You cannot blame my character for exploiting common fucking knowledge, chakra or not. If I'm not And as I said to you before... if you had simply said Amateratsu flames, I'd have been fine with that.

But you're not.

As for the immunities? Canon logic dictates that wind feeds fire. How can an an S-rank fire jutsu be defeated by a wind jutsu unless said jutsu sucks the oxygen away? And you wish to claim that 'the winds are moving too fast to feed the flames', then I'll kindly direct you the phenom known as Fire Tornados, something that can and does occur naturally. If ANYTHING, this jutsu could literally create this kind of effect simply by Naota using a wind jutsu [But did I list that? No, I did not in the interest of fairness.] while BoTS is in effect. Instead, I simply gave it super-heated winds, which, by logic, is completely accurate and well within my ability [given how Naota has Wind as an element].


As for Suiton, 90% of the Suiton of C-rank and below is simple 'hose' effect jutsu. None of them produce the amount of water needed effectively counter an S-rank fire jutsu unless you drasticly increase the amount of water they are allowed to generate [Which would break the power of suiton]. I want you to throw a gallon of water into a proper bonfire, and we'll see if it goes out.

If you had said earth, I'd be inclined to agree with you, but you didnt. At this point, I'm left to believe you're simply telling me to nerf these based on 'because I said so' logic, and that sir is something I'm NOT going to do.

Love the attitude, friend. Because clearly being rude and insulting is going to make people wanna help you so much more. Miles deserves an apology if you haven't given him one already.

Anyhow, I'm taking over your jutsu list operation now and you're going to have to cooperate with me to some extent if you wanna get this thing done. Let's start from the biggest issue at hand, which is apparently Body of the Sun.

This jutsu in general has way too many capabilities. The whole point of the jutsu revamp is to make jutsu less powerful so that the system can be more balanced and easily translatable to RP. If you have an S-Rank that keeps you in a practically ascended state for 5 posts, mostly immune to 2 elements, there has to be some sort of change in it if it's going to be passable. Despite all the reasons that you've given to support your point and why you insist on keeping this jutsu the way it is, you have to change it. Not because "we said so", but because RP is also about balance, not just logic. If everything was based on logic, all people would do is argue their point because inevitably everyone thinks they're the one who is right. Yes, what you're saying does make some sense. I get it, fire can't beat fire and wind can't beat fire either. But that is not the point. The point is that your jutsu is too powerful and one way or another it is getting nerfed, and if not, it won't be approved. That's the point of the rules.

I'll give you some options. 1.) Add that it can only block against a finite number of Katon/Futon techniques. No more than two jutsu, as Miles said. Only difference, it won't dissipate, it'll just weaken and thus lose its defensive quality, but remain capable for offensive/supplementary use.

-OR-

2.) Take away everything else and make this a purely defensive technique and nothing else. Only use? Defending against Katon and Fuuton.

Either way, you'll still need to change the drawbacks. A -1 in power to Taijutsu and Ninjutsu for three posts doesn't translate into the new system very well, as -1s and +1s are mostly limited to stats but not jutsu and definitely not specializations. Change it to a -2 tiers to speed and strength or a -3 tiers to endurance, but it can still last for 3 posts. Unless you have another idea for a drawback that will fit the new system, in which case feel free to suggest it to me.

I've already spoken to miles over a week ago and made my apology. Still hasnt gotten me anywhere with my list. And thank you for posting something more that what feels like 'I said so', as well as offering suggestions. It feels a lot better than just 'nerf it'.

I've made edits to the jutsu. Hopefully, they will suffice.

By enhancing fire jutsu by one rank, do you mean in power? Because if that's the case, that will need to be removed, as +1s to jutsu power are severely limited.

I was under the impression that jutsu could be at least B rank to gain a + with no drawbacks; S was able to get+2. But alright, removed.

The + thing in the jutsu rules is in reference to stat boosts and secondary effects in a jutsu can void its validity. Aside from that...Body of the Sun is looking much better so it's approved. Now, for the other jutsu.

Collapse of Heaven - Lower speed to 90 m/s and change "the size of Konoha" to a 100 meter radius, no bigger. There are no set guidelines for SS-Ranks but that seems like a fair speed and range.

And for the rest of the jutsu, Miles' previously suggested edits will suffice, but if you want suggest a different edit for a particular jutsu or anything like that, feel free to tell me, we can compromise so it fits the rules but still retains sufficient usefulness.

I'm gonna hold off on Collapse of heaven. I may want to trade it for something else. Also, would it be fine if I traded After-image for a library technique? Preferebly Shadow Clone Tech

Manipulated Shuriken, Shadow Shuriken, and Manipulated Windmill Triple Blades Have been swapped out for Stream, Body Flicker, and Javelin. After Image tech has been swapped for Shadow Cone Tech.

Inner Harmony will be changed out as soon as I find/write a replacement for it. Anything else?

Dragon Punch: A C-rank can't cause severe second-degree burns as well as piercing damage. Slightly less on the burning (minor second-degree) is perfect because it has a melee range and relies on your speed.

Everything else is totally awesome.
