Death, a concept so broke and misunderstood that everyone fears it. They say all men fear death, so i'm guessing i'm an exception. There's only one reason that i wouldn't embrace death with open arms and that's my life's goals. And if it would come a time at which death would come after me to take me before my time, i will flip it off and spit in it's face. Or so i always imagined my meeting with it. However none of us can fight the grim reaper. My mother and brother couldn't and as i stay before their graves tonight i can't do anything but stare at the tombstones.

I hate myself for doing this, it became a chore that i didn't want to begin with. All these years i've visited the place and now i can't stop doing it. I won't lie, there's something peaceful in the air, i can't put my finger on it but it's pure. It crawls under my skin, makes me feel good, make me feel... at peace. "Fuck..." i shook the feeling off. If there was ever a chance of me getting back on the good track it passed by me long ago. I turn from the graves towards the village, soaked from the rain. I forgot to wear my cloak, curse myself if i wake up sick in the morning. There's not time to be sick not now , now's the time for greatness.


"What in the-...". I don't know what it was, at first i saw shape, human, it started to get closer but it was blurry. I wiped my face and hair off the water and stared back forward "Shit!". I couldn't catch a right glimpse of it, but i'm pretty sure that i set my eyes on a ghoul. It's eyeballs missing from it's head but blood was pouring down from those dark hollow spaces, it's skin all gray, mouth sewn in. It scared the crap out of me, i won't lie, but i stood there unmoved, returning the stare. Now i realised something, it's mouth wasn't sewn in, that was just the skin on his face since i could see a smile behind that skin, with teeth. I tried really hard to grin back, fist clutched and then i blinked.... and it was gone.  I let a deep breath out and inspected the surroundings. "Well, well..."
