Today was anything but a normal day within Iwagakure no Sato, people was celebrating and dancing within the street, vendors were open and selling their merchandise to the patrons, at the same time prepping for the night rush that will surely come, children were running around, their childish laughter dancing on the cool breeze sweeping through the village,  weaving through those who were still setting up for tonight affairs, a small jolly tune being whistled by them. The people of Iwagakure were happy. But why? Why, from the oldest to the youngest, did smile play across their face, eyes shimmering, what they were openly expressing? Happiness. What had happen within Iwagakure to cause such a reaction from the public? The answer was simply, for people spoke about the subject of their happiness openly and without same. A simply query would reveal that the Tsuchi no Kuni had selected a new Tsuchikage after the resignation of Kanetsu Kazu. And this kage was well like by the majority of the populus both civilian and shinobi alike. So, who was the new Tsuchikage? None other then Guanyin Nanashi. . .

At the young age of twenty-four Nanashi had become the leader of Iwagakure's military with him only answering to the Daimyo and the council, the latter meaning little to him for they were only there to either advise or bring address things that needed his immediate attention that was all. The path that he had traveled,to reach this sought-after position, was one without great battle, helping Kirigakure no Sato not being counted, nor of turmoil or guilt that's commonly found in most rendition of a Kage's rise to fame, it lack the dramatic turning points in their personal struggle to the top, and most importantly it lacked the dream of being Kage. A medic and Anbu of Iwagakure, Nanashi never had the dream of becoming Tsuchikage, it was the furthest thing from his mind, and he considered it a foolish dream. Why would he want to rule Iwagakure? The village, while not the most stable or popular of places at time, the leadership was doing a decent job therefore, he felt like the village was in good hands. Apparently not many shared the same sentiment as he did, and bring us to the current situation.

Nanashi looked out the window within the Tsuchikage's tower, watching impassively at the activity going on below, with the afternoon sun shining brightly in the background. The celebration wasn't his idea but the councils and his advisers, seeing it as a perfect opportunity to breathe life back into the dying Will of Stone, and also a way for the Tsuchikage to mingle with the people . . . his people. He couldn't help but to mentally shake his head at their ploy. The celebration wasn't needed, asides from given the village something to look forward to; he didn't need a reason to mingle with those below him, for he does it anyway. But for the sake of the council he allowed it. Turning his attention away from the window at the sound of knocking at the door, his voice echoed clearly and was soothed as silk, beckoning whoever at the door to come in. A woman in her later twenties, short brown hair, dressed in a baby powder blue blouse, white knee-high skirt with nude colored stocks, and a path of matching flats, walked through the door, apologizing for the intrusion and bowing before straighten back up, hands a front of her holding a small stack of papers in their clutches. His secretary, having relieved the previous one from her duties, she having gave birth to kids and wanted to spend more time with them instead of working in the office, he granted her that wish with the knowledge of an always open position for her, if she want to return back to the work force. He noted her, well groomed, fingernails had a clear gloss applied to them, and nodded at this.

"What is it, Maya?" Nanashi asked, the now identified secretary, moving towards his desk and sitting down as she placed the stack of papers on them. A quick look over them revealed that they were mostly mission reports, marriage requests, retirement forms, etc. basically everything that didn't need his immediate attention and could be done tomorrow morning.

"A Mr.Kajiya and company is here to see you." An eyebrow raised at the mentioned of the man who, Nanashi had implanted a pair of byakugans into his socket and regenerated his lost limbs during his stay within Konoha. He thought about the conversation the pair had during that meeting, and remember how sharp and insightful Kajiya was. He thought he would never see the man again, making him wonder why he wanted an audience with him. Did he know that Nanashi was the Tsuchikage, now? Or did he just wanted a meeting with the current Tsuchikage, who just happens to be him? Maybe it was just consequenthe wanted an audience with the Tsuchikage on Nanashi's second day in office.

"Send them in." Nanashi spoke, the secretary closing the door to his office as she left. Nanashi looked towards the corner of the office, signaling to the Anbu that was stationed there to be on alert just in case someone tried to do something stupid. Though the possibility of this is incredibly low. Who would dare to attack a Kage? In their own office, nonetheless. Alas, there are some foolish people in the world and one can never be to carefully in today's time. So, leaning back in his chair, Nanashi waited patiently for Mr.Kajiya and his company to appear.

Takumi had just finished eating breakfast when he heard a knock at the door. He yawned and scratched his head as he walked over and opened the door revealing a man wearing a iwagakure uniform. The sun hit takumi in the eyes and made him flinch a little. To anybody else this would look like a simple info exchange between ninja. A mission? a summons? a recipe for apple pie? nobody knows. Well almost nobody while the man was dressed in his "Civilian" Ninja clothes he was actually a ANBU black ops member giving Takumi a letter. Why you ask because Takumi is the Captain of the ANBU Black ops division that's why. Takumi opened the letter and stared at the contents before nodding and closing the door. A new Tsuchikage has been named and his presence is required to make sure nothing goes down.

Takumi had faith though, why you ask because the New Tsuchikage was one of his former subordinates Nanashi. He was happy when he heard the news of Nanashi's advancement to Tsuchikage. Placing the letter in the fire place and watching as it burnt was something Takumi did often. After all the only people who are to know of your identity as an ANBU are the Tsuchikage and your fellow ANBU members so destruction of all proof is mandatory unless it is required later on that is. Takumi headed upstairs and pulled his ANBU uniform out of the closet and began to put it on.

He pulled the chest piece on and secured the straps then putting his forearm guards on he smiled huh my first job under nanashi.....man that sounds backwards. Then pulling on the leg pieces and finally putting his mask one he was out the door. He jumped toward the Tsuchikage building making sure to stay in the shadows. It is the first thing they teach you as an ANBU never get seen. He smiled he as he looked in the window and saw Nanashi speaking to his Secretary. He waited until she was gone before he hopped in the window and bowed "Hello sir"

Tsuyo

Tsuyo had heard of it all. The return of Nanashi to Iwagakure. How Kazu had stepped down from his throne. And now Nanashi was to be raised to the position. On one hand it was all troublesome. Nanashi knew about his eyes. And how his arm and leg had been damaged. To be honest he was the reason Tsuyo was back up to being possibly the most dangerous person in an enclosed area at any given point in time. Still he sat there looking out of his window in the hidden Manor. His silver gaze watching the clouds roll across the mountain tops. However it wasn't fear he felt. It was excitement. He could feel the adrenaline rising from the base of his neck and sending shivers all the way down his spine. Everything had become complacent around him and in truth he had grown incredibly bored. His muscles toned from training and his eyes healed to perfection. He felt his own power stirring in him. Idle waiting was going to drive him insane. He would not, could not wait for it all to shift one way or another. He would rise up and face it with a bit of a show. And doing so within such a short time frame of returning might catch some one off balance. But not Nanashi himself. No not him. He didn't respect the man just because he was now a Kage but because he felt the title was fitting. The man was one of the few he considered to be on his level intellectually. So he would not insult a man with dishonesty. Nor could he let the truth be told with out his involvement. So he spent the next few hours preparing some documents and assets. Preparing for the morning and what came with it.

The next morning Tsuyo left the manor dressed in his full suit with out his dagger. Bringing a weapon with might insult the man. Not to mention he would never get passed the front door with such a weapon in tow. On his left was a young man with silver hair. The young man was slightly shorter then Tsuyo and was wearing a pitch black suit. In his right hand he was carrying a silver briefcase with a set of handcuffs connecting it to his wrist. On his right was some one identical in appearance but with black hair. He was wearing a white suit and in his left hand was a black briefcase that was also attached to his wrist. Tsuyo was bringing the Kanetsu brothers with him. If something went badly all evidence of that building ever existing would be turned to ash. What building? None other then the Tsuchikage tower. He had been there more then once before. He still recalled his first meeting. All the Anbu who had placed blades against him. He had been polite back then and done nothing to them. This time he hoped for a bit more civility. Or at least mutual consideration.

At the front desk all three of them were checked for weapons and the contents of the cases. Having confirmed there were no hidden weapons they sent word to Nanashi. It took a couple of minutes and while they waited guards watched Tsuyo and his company. But surrounded by Anbu Tsuyo was smiling. Perfectly calm in the middle of it all. Once he was invited to the office Tsuyo bowed his head. His shined boots carried him down the hall. The festival outside was lively but inside everyone was barely whispering. No one seemed to know who this man was being allowed a meeting with the new Kage. But they could feel it. Not killing intent but pure unfiltered power. Something about Tsuyo made him stand out among even the ANBU. As if he was capable of being able to ignore them. What hinted at his power the most was how the brothers followed him. Their eyes never wavered. Not a bead of sweat was on their brow. They knew some of what Tsuyo was capable of and with him their the confidence of getting out alive sky rocketed.

However the moment they entered the room Kajiya let his silver eyes meet Nanashi's. He wasn't wearing his contacts. Those silver eyes watched the man for a moment before bowing his head in respect. However Something about being in the presence of the Kage made his servants waver. Moisture beaded on their foreheads. Eyes wavered and looked to each other. Before they bowed too. They had never been in the presence of some one as powerful as their master. Or more so possibly. But Tsuyo did not waver. His eyes did not look away and he did not sweat. Instead he smiled showing white teeth. Speaking with a voice like silk.

"The title suits you Kage-Sama."

Late. That's the first thought that came to his mind, Nanashi looking at the anbu commander, eye never betraying his thoughts but the steadily rising of his chakra, causing some of the rookie anbu members to waver, would get let the commander know that his superior was far from please and that tardiness wouldn't be acceptable. This was his, and the Anbu in the corners, one and only warning. Only after the message had been recieved did the minacious chakra receeded back into his frame - no need to worry his secretary. A moment of silence fell upon those within the room, the only sound coming from the preparation for tonight's festival, and the shifting of the papers on the desk - Nanashi straighten them up. It was only when the silent became unbearable did, he spoke, addressing his Anbu Commander "It's nice to see you again Senpai." He spoke, revealing the revelation that at one point in time, he himself was under the command of the man before him "Who would have thought that I would be elected for this position?" He asked in a rhetorical fashion "Seems like the voice of the people is stronger than once thought." It's a known fact Nanashi's election for the Tsuchikage came from the people who of Tsuchi no Kuni, who had nominated the man doing his time away in Konohagakure. The silver haired male having a sneaking suspicion that a certain medic had her hand the whole scheme, but there wasn't any proof, and it not like she would tell him anyway.

One Pulse.

Two Pulse.

Three Pulse

"Stand beside me. It seems like there are two others who are accompanying Mr.Kajiya." Nanashi spoke to his Anbu Commander, standing up, having received the information regarding the three the moment that they walked past Maya's desk. The invisible seals placed on the ceiling and floor, having detected the heat sources and captured the ambient chakra being released by the individuals. Just like electricity being release from the feet with each step, the body completely ignoring it, having gotten use to the sensation; the same can be said about chakra, miniscule amounts are released constantly, it being so small that it doesn't effects one's reserves. The seal themselves only came into existence when Nanashi hired Maya, the woman having a knack for the fuuinjutsu art, developing them for the current Tsuchikage. An unknown fact to everyone within and out of the village is that Maya was once a shinobi of Iwagakure, a proficient one at that who disappeared off the radar, only showing up recently under the assumed name Maya. There is no records regarding her life as a shinobi, nor information regarding her personal life, everything having been completedly destroyed, with the knowledge of her career only been known by a select few - not even the Tsuchikage knew everything. Making it clear that whoever gave the order to destroy her records was trying to hide something. So, why did Nanashi pick her as his secretary? Well. . .

Nanashi's yellow eye stared deeply within Mr.Kajiya's silver ones, peeling back the layers that made up man to the soul and weighing it on a scale. His face reminded unreadable as they showed proper respect by bowing to the Tsuchikage, who was wearing the sterotypical kage garb, only briefly glancing at the other two men, seeing them as nothing but fodders. They matter little to him. They would want an early retirement if they wished to start something with the Pestilence of Iwa. He didn't retort to Kajiya's comment, simply staring at the man before a tiny smile appeared on his face, before gesturing for them to sit down in the comfortable chairs before them, him having sat down once the gesture was done.

"What's it you want to speak to me about?" His asked, his voice being light and devoid of any emotions.

Takumi felt Nanashi fluctuate his chakra as a sign of unapproval toward Takumi being late, though it did not have the same affect on takumi as it did on his more jr members of ANBU the message was received "I apologize for my lateness and i agree i was surprised when i heard you got the position but i have faith none the less that you will guide Iwagakure toward a new sense of peace and prosperity that the village has not felt in a long time".

Sensing the oncoming chakra Takumi did as Nanashi asked and took his place next to the newly named tsuchikage and awaited there approach into the room. Once they arrived Takumi looked at the ANBU who were escorting them and gave a single nod. They bowed and went to there corners of the room. They were not there for intimidation but more of a precaution in case things went sour. Takumi said nothing he simply stood and awaited any order that Nanashi might give him. He was poised to strike if necessary but was hoping things would be quiet. "What's it you want to speak to me about?" The first question had been asked, now we wait.

Tsuyo waited and watched. He knew little of Nanashi as an individual. A brilliant and renowned doctor. But as an individual he knew very little other then the man was dangerously intelligent. But good for the country as well. The man was not motivated by such petty things like money. And Flattery was almost completely brushed away. Something between the two of them seemed to make it so all the Anbu and his own servants in the room might as well not be there. Except the one standing at Nanashi's side. He warranted a glance. Tsuyo let his silver eyes fall on the man unaware he was the captain. But out of everyone in the room he felt the calmest. Aside from the Kage and himself he was the only one who didn't appear effected by the tension. Truth be told if anything happened within an instant there would no longer be a room. But a blood soaked battle field. Still as he looked at Takumi Tsuyo let out a very confident smirk before it seemed to slide into that respectful smile once more. All within the time he needed to find the seat offered to him. His men however did not move. Lackeys didn't need to be seated. Still they stood there staring straight ahead. Even though sweat appeared on them in thin droplets they appeared unwavering.

Still Tsuyo Chuckled at the cold tone that Nanashi had. He lifted his right hand and had the first of the two servants bring forth the black briefcase. Tsuyo spoke as he reached over and with a twist of his fingers seemed to snap the handcuffs in two. Making it appear easy even with the wrenched metal. He pulled the briefcase into his own lap and watched Nanashi before setting it on the desk. Facing Nanashi so Nanashi could choose to open it. Or not. After all what could one sneak into the administration building? Would he be afraid to open it? Did he trust the guards enough to make sure it wouldn't explode. Or did he suspect that Tsuyo had an ulterior motive? Either way these were the words he spoke while he did all this just after the chuckle.

"Oh my your bedside manner is as frozen stiff as ever. As for speaking. Well it's a great deal more then that. You wanted answers. I wouldn't doubt that you still do. And within this case is everything hidden from you that you have now inherited with your title." And with that he had set the case on the desk.

Inside the case was a darker world then most of Iwagakure had been led to believe. The war in the shadows that left them feeling peaceful. Documents of the assault on the manor in the mountains. Tsuyo's activities in Iwa documented by folder per mission. How he and his organization had taken down a crazed drug runner. How they had wiped out all the drug runners in Iwa and scared the bandits into hiding. How He had moved on the corrupt police within the Iwagakure's police force. Killing the one in charge and putting fear into the others. How the Arrensaul Mansion in town had been given to him. Along with that was also the documents he had acquired from a certain individual. profiles on every shinobi in Konohagakure no Kato who had either lived there or had visited dated only a couple of months old. Along with a Konoha ANBU Roster and guard rotations of the village. And one more folder holding all of the defensive plans and the layout of Konoha. All dated some time back but recent enough. Even a Konoha Bingo book. Which on it's short list had a picture of a special jounin Hyuga named Tsuyo Hyuga that matched Tsuyo himself.

Tsuyo knew it was there but still he smiled. The previous Kage had left a great deal of documents provided by Tsuyo's people under the guard of Tsuyo. Having wanted no evidence of it falling back on him. It was certainly a powerful move to provide such dangerous information so quickly. But why would he go to such lengths? What did Tsuyo hope to gain by doing this? And if this was in the first case...what was in the second?
