Ability/Function: The ability to produce this item reduces the Kyodara's chakra pool by 15 permanently. This changes to 20 at B-rank, and so on (+5 per rank).
The manifestation of the Kyodara's famous ability to create a bow from nothing out of Lightning Release chakra nature change; it was dubbed Luminous Shard (弦光電歌, Genkō Denka). It can be summoned and dismissed at will. Unlike most items, it is able to have multiple chakra natures. It gains a third at A-rank.
The ethereal bow, due to using chakra, requires much less effort to draw, and thus does not drain the stamina like using a normal bow would. It launches arrows at 15m/s at C-rank, and the projectile speed increases to 35m/s at A, 45m/s at S, and 70m/s at SS. At B-rank or lower, it fires 1 arrow per second. At A-rank, it can fire two; at SS-rank, 3. (Due to its nature, multi-firing does not require any special preparation on the Kyodara's part.) The Kyodara can switch back to a lower-rank version of this bow as they see fit.
This item, due to being only semi-tangible chakra, cannot block or defend against any weapon attacks with its form, but also cannot be damaged by weapons. A jutsu of A-rank is necessary to damage this C-rank item. At B-rank, an S-rank is required, and at A-rank, an SS-rank is required. An S-rank or higher Luminous Shard bow cannot be damaged.
Starting at A-rank, a Kyodara wielding this bow can expend chakra to empower their Chakra Arrows. By paying 10 less chakra than a jutsu of equal rank to the Chakra Arrow used, the Kyodara can empower one arrow fired using this ability with the power to act as a jutsu of equal rank to that ammunition.
So, if a Kyodara has A-rank "Lightning Bolt" ammunition, they pay 15 chakra to treat one arrow as an A-rank jutsu of either of this bow's elements, which affects defenses and clashes with other attacks as normal. However, this does not change its speed or damage, which function off of the bow and arrows' normal values.
This ability also means that at A-rank, a Kyodara's arrows automatically interact as D-rank jutsu without chakra cost.
Appearance: A mostly-translucent mass of chakra shaped into a bow of the wielder's mental design. The chakra is typically tinged with variance by user. Because it is only semi-tangible, its general dimensions can be changed at will, as well.

Type Of Weapon: Chakra Arrow.
Rank: E-SS
Elemental Alignment: None.
Ability/Function: Pierces 1/4" into skin and flesh, 1/2" at B-rank, and 3/4" at S-rank; after this, damage does not increase. Can ignore the protection of non-chakra-enhanced armor of equal rank.
This arrow takes on one of the chakra natures of the Chakra Bow wielded by the Kyodara.
Due to its nature as a chakra arrow, it dissipates after connecting.
At E-rank, this item reduces one's chakra pool by 5. At C-rank, the reduction increases to 10, 15 at A, and 20 at SS.
A Kyodara does not have a set number of these arrows; rather, they can slowly channel tiny bits of the reserved chakra into making them. They create 2 arrows per post they are either in combat or alerted and ready for it. At A-rank, they create 4. At SS-rank, they create 6. These arrows are in a 'stock' they can call upon at will, requiring no quiver; they simply appear.
Appearance: Manifests as anything from an aura of chakra coalescing into a projectile to the appropriate element forming an actual arrow.

History: Passed down from generation to generation in Zetsume's family. It is an honor to receive it on your eighteenth birthday.

Description: This generic arrow, when fired from a bow at full draw, can pierce half an inch into the target's flesh.
Appearance: This arrow spans 32 inches from tip to tail. The head is 3/4ths of an inch long, and made out of steel, with three razor heads forming a triangular shape. The shaft is Ash wood, with four white chicken feathers for fletching on the base end. The base has a small slit, called a nook, to allow it to attach to the string of the bow.

History:[/b] Made by the Kyodara clan to stun or disorient an enemy that they need alive. Very handy when catching criminals or enemies from another village to interrogate for information. It is a hard rubber tipped arrow.
