Mission:

It was a rather nice evening. Unlike most days in Kirigakure, the skies were clear and liberated from dark hues. Rather than rain, the streets had the privilege of being rained on by nothing else but the light of the full moon. Dovy walked the streets with a post-it note with the address of his next mission. A rather odd one it would be. Rather than picking up trash, teaching academy students, or pep talking depressing ninja, Dovy was about to babysit a young boy. He was about half of Dovy's age, yet he already had a reputation for being difficult. The best babysitter in the village was unable to keep track of the boy, so the parents requested the assistance of a ninja. A little intimidating? Nah... Surely Dovy's speed was enough to tire out the young lad. Finally, he made it to the right house number. It was a rather large home, clear to belong to those of a higher class and social status. He walked up the steps and knocked on the door. It took about 10 seconds, but the suited-up father opened the door with excitement. "Ah! You must be the babysitter, come on in!" He said with enthusiasm. Perhaps he rarely found the occasion to go out with his gal. Dovy was happy to help, and he walked into the lovely abode.

"Now we have everything you need right there on that paper! His bedtime is 8:30. Make sure he doesn't eat any sweets or does anything reckless while we're away! We'll only be gone for three hours. You two have fun!" The mother said as she walked out of the door and closed it. Dovy turned around to see the boy. Aki was his name. He was playing with toy pirates and battleships by himself happily in solitude. Dovy raised his eyebrows--how ironic. He walked over and smiled, "Hi! Me name's Dovy. Can I play?" He said with childish energy. The boy looked at him with an evil glare. "NO!! I WANT CANDY!" He shouted with seemed to be completely unexpected an ran off! Dovy quickly tried to grab him, but he was as fast as a mouse! "Oh no! I can't let him eat that!" he thought to himself with concern. Quickly he chased after him, but as he made it into the kitchen, Dovy slipped on a brigade of marbles spread out on the smooth floor and tumbled onto the ground. Little Aki laughed before running away. Dovy sat up massaging his head, "This is going ta' take a while..."

Three hours passed, and Dovy was completely exhausted. My goodness, all of that running! It was no easy task, he was practically chasing him and getting tricked on the whole night. Luckily for him, he was able to use his bushins to trick the boy as well. Eventually he passed out on the couch and failed to eat his delicious candies. Dovy picked the boy up and took his weightless body up to his room and tucked him into his bed. Just as he placed a teddy bear under his arm, the parents finally arrived. "Finally..." he thought to himself. Quietly he walked down the steps and received his reward from the happy grown up couple.
