Spoiler:

These creatures were different than what he had normally seen, though it was also in part to the fact that he had very limited experiences with these creatures. Limited as in zero. Upon arriving in the village, his first task was to get some form of money, to be able to set himself up for his goals, pocket change, if you will. Fuzen needed to complete certain tasks, thus finding small amounts of work here and there would aid him in the process. No one here would know of the name he went by, as he only ever supplied his alias to anyone that had come across him, going by the name of Seven. If questions were asked of that particular aspect, they would be brushed off with a short calculating stare before he would trek off, much like he did earlier in the day when he first entered the village of Sunagakure no Sato. It was to protect the family that took him in, hence him taking on the alias assigned to him prior to meeting the Maki’s. He would only be known as Seven to the outside world.

If he were a lizard, where would he be? Then again… what exactly was a lizard? He managed to tail out a basic description of the creature from the office where he had grabbed said mission, a trivial one that could easily be completed by the person who requested assistance, but it seemed individuals in this village were truly lazy. Was this what it was like to be in a shinobi village? He never had such luxuries in his life so far, having people complete menial tasks for himself. What’s next? They want him to feed someone who is perfectly capable of doing it themself? Heaving out a uncharacteristic sigh, he focused his attention to the environment around him, trying to spot out the lizard that would be scouring across the sand. Sand was annoying. Really annoying. Who would even want to live in such a place? Even the weather around the village, the country, was a terrible experience for Fuzen so far, as sandstorms were easily climbing to one of the things he disliked. Back to focusing for the lizard, he was glad it wasn’t a chameleon, as the person who issued the mission said as such. What exactly was a chameleon? His knowledge about creatures was severely limited from his life prior to leaving the laboratory so many years ago, though he had learned quite a bit with his time with the Maki’s. Yet, he had never come across that word, expect maybe once or twice, though it did not click internally for the gray-haired wanderer.

The general description he was given was that the lizard was of a shade of green, a bright one at that, something called a gecko? The rest of the description, which was verbally addressed, would be on a picture that the owner provided of their pet. It was an odd looking creature, which brought along a simple question. Who keeps these things as pets? Then again, he never truly understood the concept of keeping a pet, as he was alone the majority of his life, with the exception of the last few years that had passed, and even then he was without a pet. He doubted that such a creature would be a good meal, as he had to hunt for food upon his travels in the last few months he had spent roaming about. About ten minutes had passed since he left the mission board and let his eyes randomly roam about. It would be fairly easy to spot out the creature given its colouring and the lack of greenery in the village he was currently ‘visiting’. Why couldn’t the owner just accomplish this themself? It took another two minutes before he actually found the creature, as it was casually laying upon some litter, basking in the heat from its position in the shade. Walking up to it, he casually grabbed it by the tail, lifting it up, before casually placing it in his left palm, clenching his hand slightly so it would not escape. Now, he just needed to get back to the mission board, give them this stupid lizard, collect his payment, and then find a more entertaining method of making some money.
