It was just another day in the Kirigakure. However, Risa planned to spend the whole day sleeping for it was a Sunday and she didn't feel like doing anything, she just felt like sleeping until her 'alarm clock' started yelling at her. Bringing her out of her pleasant slumber. Risa was not to happy about it. As she rose from her covers still half asleep but in a foul mood. She just stared at the maid who had woken up from her sleep."why are you waking me up like this on a Sunday Sachiko san? Anyways I'm going back to sleep now." After having said that, she quickly pulled the covers back over her and went back to sleep. Only to hear the same familiar voice trying to wake her once more. Risa ojou sama! Don't go back to sleep! Get your butt up out of bed and get outside! You are being completely lazy and it's very unbecoming of you!" Risa rose once more to only now glare at Sachiko who was standing there with her arms crossed glaring right back at Risa. She was not a morning person, never had been but Risa just let out a heavily irritated sigh. "Urgh fine! You win Sachiko, I'll go out and do something? Alright?! Now, bring me a fresh change of clothes so I can get dressed?" The maid showed a face that seemed relieved and left to go grab clothes for Risa. Risa just got up at walked over to the mirror and looked at herself in the mirror then, her maid came back in with a change of clothes, set them down on the bed and exited the room once more. Once Sachiko had left, Risa began to dress herself. She first put on her bra and underwear. Then, the rest was pretty simple. Once Risa had put on her clothes, she then brushed out her crimson red hair and styled it in the usual fashion. After that, she brushed her teeth. Once all of that was done, she put on her socks and headed for the front door of the house, put on her shoes and took off for the city. At first, she wasn't to thrilled about going out but now she was a bit excited. As she strolled down the streets if the city, she saw many cool places and she wanted to check out and as usual, she was spacing out. Before she knew it, Risa bumped into someone.

Cool weather, nice breezes, some humidity - Gin was really getting used to this weather. It was a nice break from the scorching sun of Sungakure where she had been raised. It also made it far easier to wear the skin tight outfit that covered all of her skin, along with the bandages that revealed little more than her left eye. The market of Kirigakure was also a rather agreeable place. And because of her very appearance - dark, foreboding, intimidating - people tended to let her walk by without smothering her like they did most of the other Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. She was an exception - a foreigner who people knew little to nothing about, except that she had killed the former Kazekage to get her hands on Soul Cutter.

Rumors flew around the village, claiming that she covered her face because she was severely deformed, that she drank the blood of her enemies and that she was secretly a man. Gin laughed at them every time she heard them from Sanosuke. Those things - except for the first one, maybe - couldn't be farther from the truth. Nevertheless, Gin had to say that she enjoyed being left to her own devices. Of course, there was the eventual prick who didn't know who he or she was messing with. Like the idiot who had just taken her wallet - rather, Sanosuke's wallet.

The former Kazekage hardly had to give chase, though. The thief ran face first into a petite redhead. She caught up in less than a second, kicking the man over the head and swiftly knocking him out and onto the ground. She searched his pockets as she addressed the girl. "Sorry about that, kid," she began talking to the young girl that the man had bumped into just now. She was still shifting through the belongings of the knocked out man. Gin doubted he'd wake up for a while. Might ass well pickpocket the pickpocketer. "Some people just don't know who to avoid in this forsaken village, but hey, it happens everywhere - ah! Jackpot." She pulled out her own wallet as she stood up, along with those of several other people. Finders keepers. She'd have fun drinking tonight, no doubt.

the person that Risa had bumped into seemed to be running from someone judging by the way he was out of breath. She wondered why that was but just then a girl in a skin tight suit and silvery hair came running up and knocked him out with one swift move. Of course, when the girl knocked out ended up being knocked into Risa. Being the klutz Risa was, she took a fall letting out a girly scream. She was now under a rather large and unconscious man. While she was trying to shove him off of her when the silvery haired female came up and started riffling through the unconscious lug's pockets. She then spoke to Risa ignoring the fact that poor Risa was stuck under an unconscious person. This was turning out to be a terrible day. If only dumb Sachiko hadn't forced her to go out, she could still be in bed sleeping peacefully instead of under some large incapacitated man who smelled of alcohol. She just looked at the person who was now looking happy to have found a wallet in the man's pocket. "um.... If you would be so kind...as to help get this lug off of me, I'd really appreciate it." Risa was smiling but she was clearly irritated by the current turn if events that had occurred, that and the fact that this person had seemed to not have realized Risa's predicament at all. It was all frustrating but Risa decided to grin and at least try to bear it. But even Risa's tone of voice showed her obvious irritation

Of course the man had collapsed on top of the poor girl. Before she stood up and tucked the few wallets away into her weapon's pouch, Gin flipped him over, off of the girl. He landed by her side with a thud. "Woops, sorry 'bout that," she mumbled. The girl was annoyed. It was easy to tell from her tone of voice and the general look about her. However, she kept her impulses in check - an admirable thing, by Gin's own standards. The former Kazekage would rarely hold back that sort of thing. That was why the people around her - mostly friends, however - were often the targets of her wayward punches and eventual kicks. Of course, the subjects of her violence were people who could most likely dodge or block effectively.

In any case, she did feel a bit sorry for the girl. Gin dusted the dirt off of herself and placed her hands on each side of her hips, above the blades that she kept strapped to her side at all times. "I feel like I owe you one, little miss," she began, addressing the red headed girl. "I find myself in possession of some extra cash now. How about I treat you to a bowl of ramen? Maybe a training session if you're interested? Can't guarantee you'll come out in one piece though," Gin offered. Training the village's next generation had become a sort of hobby of hers. It was a good way to spend the time. And the former Kazekage was always in the mood for a bowl of good food. Having spent a good deal of her time in the wilderness, feeding off of whatever she could find, she had learned to appreciate the wonders of good cuisine.

Finally the girl had realized her predicament and shoved the large unconscious man off of her, to where he landed with a large thud. Risa was still quite irritated with the girl. All Risa had wanted to do was get out of the mansion for a change of pace and then this had to happen. Risa just looked over the woman, she was tall with silvery hair and fiery red eyes. She was dressed in armor like clothing and wore a scarf that covered her mouth so her voice was slightly muffled but not muffled enough to where Risa couldn't understand her when she spoke. From her looks, the woman looked to be older than Risa by at least a few years. She continued to stare at the silvery haired female until she put her hands on both hips and spoke to Risa. "I feel like I owe you one, little miss," Risa could tell from the way she spoke that she was definitely older than her. Not to mention, calling Risa 'little miss' made her think that the woman was a lot older than she looked. After all, Risa had only been called that by elderly men in the past, never by someone who looked to be in their twenties not to mention it was a woman who called her that. It made Risa giggle a bit. Risa tried her best to hide her slight laughter but she unfortunately couldn't keep her shoulders from moving. Risa quickly stopped and return the woman's gaze. She had only seen her quickly stuff something she got from the man's pocket into her weapons pouch that was on her waist but she wondered what it was. Could she be a thief? Or maybe it was the man who was the thief. Either way, it didn't really matter to Risa she just wanted to be on her way so she could look in that shop she'd seen a ways back in the direction behind her. As she was thinking of saying goodbye to the woman and heading off, she spoke once more and this time she really caught Risa's attention. "I find myself in possession of some extra cash now. How about I treat you to a bowl of ramen? Maybe a training session if you're interested? Can't guarantee you'll come out in one piece though," the mention of treating her to food or training made her face light up. Risa had order a new katana from a great sword craftsmen and it would be done at the end of this week. So once it was done and picked up, Risa would need someone to help her train with it but at the same time, it was just about lunch time and Risa had skipped breakfast today so she was getting very hungry. Not to mention, Risa had left her wallet at the mansion so she was empty as far as money was concerned. As she stood their contemplating her offer her stomach growled. That was that, she decided on the ramen. After all, girl's gotta eat, right? They headed to a ramen shop that Risa recommended they go to because the ramen there was good and not to pricy either. As they entered the place, Risa was cheerfully and familiarly greeted by the old man who ran the the shop. He was a good man, Risa had known him since she was a little girl. He quickly showed them to a table and gave them both a menu to look at. For awhile there was an awkward silence between the two until Risa spoke up. "So, I never got your name, oh! Mine's Risa"

Shifting crimson eyes stared at the redheaded girl behind a bandaged face - well, at least one eye. The other was safely hidden behind an eye patch, a sharingan implant that she had had implanted into her almost a year ago. She had recently heard that the medic in charge of the surgery had died. Unfortunate. She had wanted to get rid of the sharingan and needed a capable doctor that she could trust to keep a secret. The eye siphoned off chakra like it was made to do it and offered few benefits to her in return. A mechanical one would do much, much better. She supposed she could dust up some old contacts in order to find someone appropriate for the job. Of course, this she would have to pay with her own money. Such a pain in the ass.

Well, there would be other times to think of the unpleasant nature of surgery and medics in general. Gin had a sort of innate hatred towards everything related to that category, much like a cat had to being dunked in water. Right now, though, Gin had made an offer and was waiting for a response. When the girl agreed, Gin clapped her hands together. "Wonderful! She said, and began loosely following the girl. She apparently already had a location in mind regarding where she wanted to eat. Well, that saved Gin the time to think about it. After all, she was relatively new to Kirigakure, having arrived only a few months prior. Before that, she had been to Kiri, of course, but never for more than a week or so. She had been the Kazekage back then. She couldn't afford to spend extended periods of time outside of her village.

But now... now she was free to roam wherever she wanted, under the political protection of the Mizukage herself, or so she was told. It was still a foreign concept to her. Now she even owned her own house in the village. It was strange indeed, but she supposed it was just one of the perks of owning a sword considered to be one of the village's legendary relics. Soul Cutter was by far her most prized possession - at least when it came to material things.

Gin followed the girl into the small restaurant and was glad to see that they were instantly seated. She glossed over the menu as the girl introduced herself. "The name's Shinobu," she said simply. She had adopted the false identity and name the second she had fled her old village. Only two people in the world knew who she was and she planned on keeping it that way. She examined the girl in front of her while the waiter came to take their order. "You're dressed a little bit too formally to be around this part of town. By the looks of it, you're from the other side of town," she said, judging by the fine silks and clean features on the girl.

From time to time, Risa would glance at Shinobu out of pure curiosity. The woman didn't look like she was from the Kirigakure, her clothing and appearance all said she was from the Sunagakure. Pretty soon a waiter arrived and took their order. Risa noticed he was quite good looking and couldn't help but go into flirt mode. He first took Shinobu's order then turned to Risa and took hers. As the waiter was about to leave, Risa flashed her usual flirty and seductive smile at him causing the waiter to blush and fumble his notepad before quickly heading back into the kitchen. Risa just giggled at how cute he was for getting so flustered when she flirted with him. Risa was never one to be sutle when it came to flirting, she always wanted to make clear what her intentions were. Soon she heard her dinning partner call out to her. She turned back around and replied. "Well, I could say the same about you Miss Shinobu, you don't look like you're even from the Kirigakure, you look like you're from the Sunagakure." A few moment after Risa's reply, their food was brought out by the same waiter from before. He gently placed their meals in front of them and quickly left. It was clear that he was still flustered from earlier judging by how red his face still was but right now, Risa was more focused on the big pipping hot bowl of ramen that had been placed in front of her. Her eyes glistened with hunger and it was no wonder. After all, Risa had left the mansion without eating breakfast not to mention, she left her wallet at home so how could she pay for something to eat? Risa was counting herself pretty lucky right now. If Shinobu hadn't knocked down the man that fell on top of her and not offered Risa a meal, then she would of had to go home to get her wallet - she'd also have a big scolding from Sachiko upon her return to the mansion. Putting those unpleasant thoughts aside, she began to happily eat her ramen. The flavors blended together, melted in her mouth. It was perfect flavor harmony. She continually ate her ramen not paying much attention to Shinobu. For some reason, Risa felt as if someone was watching her but she decided to shake it off and just enjoy her super delicious ramen. The place they were eating at was known widely in the village for having the best food in the country. It was also the only place to get ramen in the village, so it was quite a popular place. It really surprised Risa that it wasn't packed for a change but she just wrote it off as being a slow day. She glanced at her dining partner and noticed that there was something slightly familiar about her but Risa couldn't quite put her finger on it. The harder Risa tried to remember, the more she couldn't. She decided to ask her up front. "hey, have we met before? You seem kind of familiar to me." Risa stopped eating her ramen and looked at Shinobu intently, letting her know she was completely serious.
